ELIGIBILITY
All eligibility concerns must be initiated by the team managers. Umpires are not to get involved until a manager initiates the discussion.
When a manager initiates an eligibility concern it can either be through an objection or protest.
Objection — A manager can object to a player(s) taking the field for the opposing team when said player(s) has played previously that night for another team in the same league. Objections can only be presented to the umpire prior to the start
of the game and can not be changed to a protest later.
Objections communicated by a manager prior to the game and upheld by the umpire will result in the game being called a forfeit.
Protest — Player(s) believed not to be on the official teams roster can be protested anytime before the final out of the game. Eligibility protests must follow the same procedures for protests that are stated in league rules.
A protested game must continue on with play and a decision will be handed down by the League Director the following day. |
