HOW TO BECOME AN ASA UMPIRE

- Complete 2011 Registration Form and review 2011 Preseason Letter.
- Attend Local Rules and Game Assignment Meeting.
- Take and pass National Umpires Exam. Exams are passed out at state and local meetings.
- Order equipment from the ASA Uniform Outfitter. (All pictures of equipment borrowed from ASA Uniform Outfitter site. All prices subject to change.)

Total minimum cost to become an umpire:
$150.00 (without Jacket or Pants which are handy in the spring and fall.) The
clothes are a one time cost. It will take approximately 8 games to make back
your investment. Small cost considering you could umpire 100-150 games a year.
